Alpha Insights (Canada) will acquire X- and L-band SAR assets of Urthecast. Scott Larson is leading the company and was a co-founder of Urthecast, which filed for protection last year. Alpha Insights aims to provide wide-area coverage and ultra-high 0.40 meters SAR resolution.
Prime Movers Lab is investing an undisclosed amount of seed funding, but Urthecast already invested in the technology more than $65 million.
