Skyroot and Bellatrix plan to have the first mission of a Vikram launcher with an Orbital Transfer Vehicle by 2023. An Orbital Transfer Vehicle is a spacecraft that can perform various in-orbit operations including the deployment of customer payload to precise orbits.

Skyroot Aerospace successfully tested its upper stage engine Raman and Solid fuel demonstrator Kalam-5 is building space launch vehicles last year and is planning its first launch to space at the end of this year

Bellatrix Aerospace is a provider of spacecraft propulsion systems offering both chemical and electric propulsion technologies.

Skyroot will use Bellatrix’s Orbital Transfer Vehicle with their Vikram series of launch vehicles.
