NASA is delaying the decision due to funding and the change in administrations. The three teams participating in the Human Landing System (HLS) program, Blue Origin, Dynetics and SpaceX, will have to wait until April 30 to know if they receive “Option A” awards for lander development.
NASA’s requested $3.3 billion for the program but finally received $850 million.
